I began my journey into Classical Christian Education by joining a local community group called Classical Conversations which is a home-schooling curriculum and community development model began in the US 26 years ago. Classical Education was unknown to me prior to this, but as I am an avid reader and a seeker of truth no matter the cost, it resonated with my personality from the beginning. I read as much as I could get my hands on and the more I learned, the more God led me down this path of how to help train my children’s affections on the Good, the True, the Beautiful and the Holy while simultaneously refining my own.

The Ramsay Centre is hosting an evening to find out more about St John’s with Associate Professor Andrew Poe. He will deliver a lecture on “Thinking and Unthinking Political Necessity: A Democratic Reading of Book 2 of Plato’s Republic" and share his experience of the Great Books education he received at St John’s College. The talk will be followed by light refreshments and conversation.
